Suitable for those with little or no experience, this is a gentle introduction to the process of drawing and painting. Tutor Alison Thomas will guide you through a structured course consisting of demonstrations and exercises designed to encourage confidence in those who have always fancied having a go!
Some basic materials will be necessary including pencils, charcoal and putty rubbers for the first couple of classes, pastels and either oil, acrylic or watercolour paints for later in the course. Advice and suggestions will be given on materials and the best places to get them. If you have a set of paints that have been lying around for ages and have never known what to do with them, this is the course for you!
